This shelter has limited space for the visiting yachts (up to 10 boats). Local fishing cooperative administrates the shelter. There are 3 – 6 meters depth in the basin. There is a slipway in the yard, emergency hauling service is provided up to 20 meter LOA. Hauling is on sledge and runners – the old fashioned way. Coast Guard station is the port zone. Fuel can be obtained from a tanker truck. Provisions are available in the town. Public market takes place on Tuesdays. Restaurants, tea houses, markets and a State clinic are around the shelter. Land transport facilities are regularly available to Tekirdağ – 85 km and Çanakkale – 90 km.
