Eğri Liman is on the western end of Karaburun Peninsula. It is 8 miles away on the south of Karaburun. A peninsula extends in a northerly direction, parallel to the mainland. It is connected to the shore with an isthmus. The entrance is 300 meters. Three rocky islets near the middle of the peninsula lie 400 meters off the point. The depth at the entrance is 20 meters. Depths gradually shelve ashore. The bottom is sandy and muddy, affords excellent holding. Boats drop anchor in 2 – 20 meters. Eğri Liman provides all – round shelter. It gets swell from strong northerly and southerly winds, but it is not gusty in the bay. A few houses among the fields are seen on the slopes on east. The Küçükbahçe – Karaburun highway is nearby; it’s 30 km to either destination.
