It is a bay entered between two high hills 380 meters apart, 1 mile northeast of Adatepe Burnu.
Opposite the entrance, a cape extends, dividing the bay in two. On the 60-meter extension of this cape, there are rocks with 50 cm of water over them, caution is required.
On the eastern side of the bay, there is a beautiful beach and behind it a tourist facility nestled among gardens. This facility has a small floating pier in the middle of the beach. A very beautiful location, fantastic atmosphere. However, this is a place exposed to wind, waves and swell, unsuitable for anchoring.
On the western side at the entrance is the suitable place for anchoring. Just west of the middle cape, in the section behind the beach, one can anchor at 3-6 meters depth and stay with a stern line or taking a line from shore. However, this area is not a place I would recommend considering both its proximity to the beach area and the nearby cape being very close, with the possibility of squalls driving the boat and the anchor dragging. Additionally, it receives slight swell.
Squalls will affect your boat when entering or leaving Hayıt Bükü.
The wooden pier at the Hayıt Bükü entrance is the safest place in terms of mooring.
You are in a very small but charming town of the region. Tea gardens under mulberry trees, restaurants by the sea, a magnificent beach, a tiny coastline, walking paths leading to gardens, greenhouses, and hills - you are in a concentrated paradise.
There is a market for shopping. Ice and gas are available. Local products are available. There is a Health Center. For urgent fuel needs, a tanker comes from Datça, 17 kilometers away. There are regular minibus services to Datça.
The skills of the chefs at Hayıt Bükü restaurants in cooking fish are also worth mentioning. In the evening, at tables set up on the beach, it is possible to find the dining arrangement of the neighboring Aegean Islands here as well.
In Hayıt Bükü, you can wake up early in the morning and climb the hills or take a walk towards the area where the long beach is located behind the pier. After your morning walk through the gardens, greenhouses, and olive trees, you can plunge into the crystal-clear waters. You can have your breakfast in the tea gardens under the mulberry trees.
If you are going to leave, weigh anchor before the tour boats arrive, before eleven o'clock. Whatever happens outside, know that a sweet respite awaits you
