Note: Coast Guide TR operates internationally and may conduct business through affiliated entities in multiple jurisdictions to better serve our maritime community.

Our platform integrates: Google AdSense (advertising), Google Analytics (analytics), Google Weather API (weather data), YouTube (video content), Garmin Navionics (maritime charts), Amazon Web Services / AWS (hosting and infrastructure).

This platform provides supplementary information for voyage planning and maritime awareness but MUST NOT be used as:

❌ Primary navigation source
❌ Substitute for official nautical charts and publications
❌ Replacement for proper navigational equipment
❌ Sole basis for safety-critical decisions

Maps & Charts: Garmin Navionics charts are for reference only, may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or outdated information, depth soundings, hazards, and features may be incorrect, NOT a substitute for official hydrographic office charts.

Weather Information: Google Weather API data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, should NOT be relied upon for critical navigation or safety decisions, always consult official meteorological services.

Navigational Information: Content may not reflect latest Notice to Mariners, chart corrections and hazard updates may not be included, local regulations and restrictions may have changed.

AI-Enhanced Content: While AI assists in content translation and enhancement, all critical navigational data must be verified through official sources.

You MUST:

✓ Use current official nautical charts and publications approved by hydrographic offices
✓ Maintain proper navigation equipment (GPS, radar, depth sounder, compass, AIS)
✓ Monitor official weather forecasts, warnings, and maritime safety information
✓ Exercise sound seamanship and professional judgment at all times
✓ Comply with International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREGS)
✓ Follow all applicable maritime laws, port regulations, and local requirements
✓ Verify ALL information through multiple reliable and official sources
✓ Keep updated with Notice to Mariners and navigation warnings
✓ Maintain adequate safety equipment and emergency procedures
✓ Ensure vessel seaworthiness before departure

By using Coast Guide TR, you acknowledge that: Maritime activities carry inherent and significant risks, weather and sea conditions can be unpredictable and dangerous, you are solely responsible for all navigation and safety decisions, you have adequate knowledge, skills, and experience for intended voyages, you will not rely solely on digital guides or electronic information.

Our total aggregate liability for any and all claims arising from your use of Coast Guide TR shall not exceed: The fees you paid to Coast Guide TR (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim, OR €100 (one hundred euros), whichever is lower.

By using Coast Guide TR, you expressly assume all risks associated with: Maritime navigation and sailing activities, reliance on digital information or electronic charts, weather and sea condition variability, equipment failure or malfunction, human error or misjudgment.

Original Editorial Content: Maritime content, sailing guides, and navigational information are created by our experienced editorial team based on first-hand sailing experience, thorough research, professional maritime knowledge, and on-site visits.

AI Enhancement: Artificial intelligence may be used to enhance content readability, translate content, optimize structure, and improve search functionality. Core navigational information is human-authored and verified.

You may: View, browse, and access content for personal, non-commercial purposes; download or print reasonable portions for personal reference while sailing; share links to Coast Guide TR content on social media; reference Coast Guide TR with proper attribution in non-commercial contexts.

You may NOT: Reproduce, copy, or republish substantial portions of content; redistribute content commercially; modify or create derivative works; remove copyright notices; use automated systems to download content in bulk; use content to train AI models; reverse engineer software; use content in a manner that competes with Coast Guide TR.

You expressly agree NOT to:

Security & Technical: Attempt unauthorized access, interfere with platform operation, introduce malicious code, bypass security features, conduct security testing without permission, use automated systems abusively, overload infrastructure.

Content & Information: Post false or misleading information, impersonate others, infringe intellectual property rights, scrape user data, republish content in violation of terms.

Illegal Activities: Use platform for unlawful purposes, facilitate illegal activities, violate maritime laws, engage in fraudulent activities, harass or harm others.

Misuse of Information: Rely solely on Coast Guide TR for critical decisions, use outdated information without verification, ignore official warnings.

Violation may result in: Immediate account suspension or termination, content removal, IP address blocking, evidence preservation, reporting to authorities, legal action, criminal prosecution where applicable.
