It is a cove covered with pine trees, hidden to the southeast of Şahin Burnu on the eastern side of Fethiye Gulf.
At the end of the cove, which has deep water, there is a very beautiful beach section. In this area, there is a nice facility among the gardens and trees.
The westerly breeze is not very effective in the cove. The west shore creates a lee, blocking the wind.
There is no danger when approaching the cove. Large vessels anchor in 20-25 meters off the shore extending from Şahin Burnu towards the beach and take a stern line to the steep slopes. There are rocks in the water in front of the beach on this shore. The rocks spread over a small area are easily visible during the day.
The opposite shore of the cove can also be approached stern-to. However, considering the breeze and lee that may come from outside, it is necessary to anchor close to the beach. For vessels staying in this section, it is beneficial to have long anchor rode and maintain distance from the shore.
The sea is very clean. The facility among the greenery has a floating dock in front of the beach where mooring is done with a buoy.
Among the walnut trees, there is a spring that gives the cove its name.
There is no road connection from the cove.
