It is the wide bay on the narrowing western side of Ölüdeniz.
The bottom is mud and it is safe to anchor and stay at 4-8 meters depth off the shore. There are 2 restaurants in the bay and 2 piers belonging to them. However, during the day, tour boats coming from Demre and Üçağız moor intensively at these piers.
It is a safe bay to shelter in southwesterly winds in the region. It has very good holding and is spacious.
From behind the restaurants, the Aperlae ruins can be reached in half an hour via a footpath. At night, wild boars roam on the shore and in the mountains.
At dawn, buffaloes take their place. Following the footpath, you reach a pond used by the buffaloes and historical structures.
