Çınarlı Shelter is on the southwest of Marmara Island. It lies on the south of the Çınarlı village. It has been opened in 2011 and it affords all round sheltering. There are sea level rocks – 300 meters off the shore. Careful plotting is required. There are 5 meters depth at the entry; it drops 3 – 2 meters in the basin. There is a slipway in the shelter; boats up to 30m LOA can be hauled. Hauling here is sledge and runners. Mechanical works can be obtained. There are markets and restaurants around the shelter. Public market is arranged on Wednesdays. Transport facilities to the Marmara Island town center – 6km are available.
