Bozcaada Port is situated on the northeast side of the island at the foot of the castle. The northern quay at the harbour entrance offers 3 meters depth with laid moorings tailed to the quay. Water and electricity connections are available on the quay, whilst fuel can be obtained from a tanker truck. Toilet and shower facilities are located within the harbour area. The port is managed by the municipality (phone: 536-437 17 65), and attendants will assist with berthing. This anchorage provides adequate shelter except during ESE winds.

Maintenance facilities on the island are limited. Provisioning facilities are available. Upon leaving the port on foot, you will find a waterfront park with teahouses and shaded areas offering pleasant facilities for visitors. Several fish restaurants line the shore, and various shops are located adjacent to the park. A state clinic, pharmacies, and cargo companies are within walking distance. The public market operates on Wednesdays.

Bozcaada is renowned as "the cradle of grapes and wine"—the famous Turkish grape variety Çavuş Üzümü is cultivated here. Visiting the island during the August vintage season is highly recommended.

Scheduled ferry services operate between Bozcaada and Geyikli, from where you can reach the ancient site of Troy by taxi.

Attractive beaches are located on the southern part of the island, with regular minibus services available. The late afternoon settings are particularly impressive.

With its moderate climate and excellent swimming facilities, Bozcaada is rapidly becoming a popular tourist destination. Numerous small hotels and renovated self-catering pensions are available. During June, July, and August, the island tends to be crowded with holidaymakers, but visiting outside the high season allows you to experience the authentic charm of this traditional fishing and wine-making village.
