Altınoluk Shelter is on the northern shores of Gulf Edremit. It is 4, 5 miles on the west of Kara Burun.

There are 3-6 meters depth in the inlet. Berthing capacity is 100 boats. Local boats occupy the port, it is usually hard to find room. Fishing cooperative administrates the port (phone: 0533 – 646 68 28). Water and electricity connections are available on the quay. Provisions can be found from the markets in the town. Cargo companies, pharmacies, bank ATM’s and State Clinic are in the town center. Fuel can be obtained from a tanker truck. Fishmonger, teahouses and restaurants are around the shelter.

Transport facilities are regularly available to most destinations. Çanakkale and Balıkesir – 105 km from the shelter.

Public market takes place on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
