This long, clean sandy beach is on the south of Sarımsaklı Peninsula. The beaches are great spot for swimming but only fair – weather anchorages. The bottom is sand, affords good holding in the depths of 2 – 5 meters. The depths quickly shelve ashore. There are markets, restaurants and cafes ashore. Most provisions can be found. Regular transport facilities – shared taxies are available to Ayvalık.
