KARABURUN İSKELESİ
The shelter on the northeast of Karaburun Peninsula, behind Büyükada has limited space for berthing. There are sufficient depths at the entrance but it shelves ashore. Local boats occupy the inlet. Maneuvering is limited for long keel boats. Boats can anchor inside. This shelter is managed by the local fishing cooperative (phone: 0505 – 672 95 63). Fuel can be obtained by a tanker truck. Provisions are available. Public market takes place on Wednesdays.
Regular transport services are available to Karaburun.
There are attractive diving spots in the area. Number of diving schools arranges regular courses.

Saip Altı Shelter is on northern part of Karaburun Peninsula. It lies on the south of Karaburun town. There is 3 meters depth in the inlet. Boats drop anchor for berthing. This shelter is a common anchorage for the local fishing boats. Berthing is available for the visiting boats in summer months. Fishing cooperative manages the shelter. Provisions can be found from Karaburun town. Land transport facility is available to Karaburun.
