
KARABURUN PIER
It is a small shelter located in the northeast of Karaburun Peninsula, right behind Büyükada, in front of the summer residential areas of Karaburun Town.There is deep water at the mouth of the narrow small shelter. However, the narrow shelter becomes shallow towards the bottom. Small fishing boats are moored on this side.
The shelter is full of local vessels in summer. However, it can be entered for refuge purposes. Entry and maneuvering area for long-keeled vessels is limited. There is no mooring and anchoring is required.

There are markets, restaurants, and hotels in the area where the shelter is located. There are regular minibuses to Karaburun. Karaburun's local market day is Wednesday. Fuel is brought by tanker.
The seabed structure in this region is excellent. Therefore, many diving schools conduct dives at seven diving points.
Apart from this shelter, locations for shelter in northerly weather include Büyükada and Küçükada. Additionally, Saip Altı Shelter south of Karaburun is the most suitable sheltering point.
SAİP ALTI SHELTER

It is a protected shelter built to the south of Karaburun Town in the north of Karaburun Peninsula. The depth inside the shelter is around 3 meters. Vessels stay at anchor. At this point, which is generally frequented by fishing boats, space is available for yachts during summer months.
There is a road connection to Karaburun town. Shopping, provisioning and other facilities are obtained from Karaburun.
The shelter is operated by the fisheries cooperative. Fuel is brought by tanker.
