Küçük Gevil Koyu indents to the north on the northern part of Gulf of  Sığacık. The bottom is sand and weed. Boats anchor off in 4-5 meters. This bay efforts good sheltering but it is open to northerly and southerly blowing winds. 

Küçük Gevil Koyu is a narrow bay. It is always best to take a line ashore for overnight anchorages. Impressive caves at the entry on the port side are visible.
