Turkcell Platinum Bosphorus Cup, the Istanbul Bosphorus's important international sailing race organized by ORG Sports, which has been working for years to popularize sailing in Turkey, and the Turkish Sailing Federation, is among the most-watched sporting events in Turkey after football. This magnificent and thrilling sports competition, in which sailors from all over the world participate every year, also makes a significant contribution to city promotion by broadcasting live to sailing enthusiasts worldwide from the Istanbul Bosphorus, where continents meet.
Up to 100 boats from 30 countries are expected to participate in the "Turkcell Platinum Bosphorus Cup 2015", where boats and crews from around the world will compete fiercely. The organization will begin with preliminary rounds off Caddebostan during the first two days, and will continue in the Istanbul Bosphorus on Saturday, May 30th. At the end of the races, the winning boat will have the right to take home the famous Bosphorus Cup Rotating Trophy. With the unique backdrop created by the Bosphorus, magnificent structures, and judas trees, both Istanbulites and all sailing enthusiasts through live broadcasts will experience the spirit of "Turkcell Platinum Bosphorus Cup 2015".
