Countdown Begins in Marmaris
28th MIRW to be Held October 28 - November 3

Between October 28 and November 3, the Marmaris International Race Week organized by Marmaris International Yacht Club will be held for the 28th time.

While over 100 teams from 13 countries have registered, the number is expected to increase until race day.

This year, racing and cruising classes will compete on separate courses. In this regard, 2 different race committees will be on duty to manage the races.

The increase in the number of Russian teams this year is notable, while Turkish teams from different regions will also be competing throughout the week.

This event, which is one of the most highly attended yacht races in Turkey, will produce more meaningful results with the separation of racing and cruising classes.

During race week, where the competitions on the course are complemented by evening events, Marmaris will experience lively days, particularly at Netsel Marina.

The first starting signals of this event, which is the product of 28 years of dedication, will be heard on October 30th.

We will be following the Marmaris International Race Week closely this year, as we have every year.

We wanted to enter the final days with visuals from our archives of the race weeks held in 2010 and 2011.

We extend our gratitude to all sea lovers who envisioned, implemented, developed and participated.

We wish the participants a week of gentlemanly competition and wonderful events.
