At the entrance to Selimiye Bay, it has entered to the west, between Küçüven and Sığ Points.

A naturally magnificent bay. To the south, lush green forest, to the north, rugged rocky hill, crystal-clear bottom structure, to the west, a beach opening to Selimiye...

The beach section is quite shallow. This shallowness suddenly begins after the middle of the bay. Selimiye Village extends to this beach via a road. In the middle of the bay, there is a visible rock. Provided this rock is taken into account, there are good anchoring spots.

You can anchor in the middle of the bay at 4-12 meters on sand-shell bottom and stay on anchor watch. If you are going to spend the night, you must check whether your anchor is secure.

In this tiny bay, when the wind starts to blow at night, there is not much room to maneuver, let's not forget. Dragging cannot be tolerated.

For this reason, including the rock in the middle, it is necessary to determine space considering other vessels in the bay.

Especially if gulet vessels are going to stay, they take stern lines from this rock and occupy a wide area.

The bay has become crowded in recent years. Daily tour boats in the region definitely stop by. They take stern lines from the southern shores.

Similarly, at the entrance, you can moor stern-to-shore on the port side section. This area takes shelter on choppy days in the gulf compared to other parts of the bay, but gets cool air on calm days.

The bay generally receives wind from the northeast. When it is not too strong, it does not affect the vessels, but gusts can turn and enter through the bay entrance as well.

If your vessel is on the starboard side, you can walk from the beach area to Selimiye Village and meet your needs if any. Selimiye Village is a place where almost all needs can be met.
