It is the island located north of Ildır Bay.
The northern side of the island consists of steep slopes. On its south, there are three sheltered coves with sandy bottoms.
The middle cove is the most frequently used by sailors.
The bottom of all coves is a mixture of sand and marl. This should be taken into consideration when anchoring.
When north winds are strong and cause squalls, the small cove indented to the east is most suitable. In this cove, it is advisable to take a stern line for mooring.
In the middle cove, anchor is dropped on sandy bottom at depths ranging from 3 to 10 meters depending on location.
There is a pebble-sand mixed beach and a concrete pier on the western side.
Especially during summer months, daily tour boats from the surrounding area come and go constantly. It is necessary not to anchor on this pier's anchor line to avoid disturbance.
The intensity of tour boats continues until evening hours.
Additionally, diving boats also come to the small coves for diving.
Many donkeys live on the island. Due to these donkeys, the island is also known by locals as "Donkey Island" and has clear water and cool air. It is a nice spot for overnight stay.
The cove is exposed to southerly conditions and should definitely not be stayed in.
