Located in the north of Güllük Gulf, at the westernmost point, 0.80 miles east of Tekağaç Point. There are 3 small coves within the harbor.
When entering or exiting the cove, attention must be paid to the rocks and shoals of Turna Point. Generally, it is advisable to navigate offshore from the nearest coast in this coastal section. Banks are found at some points.
The harbor is sheltered from meltemi but open to the south. The sheltered part from southern winds is the western cove. You can anchor here at 4 meters and stay.
You can anchor at 5 meters in the middle of the central cove, but it shoals towards the shore.
Although the eastern cove allows you to anchor at 6 meters in the middle, it also shoals towards the shore. Mesut Holiday Village is located in this shallow area. There is also a market at the site for your needs.
There are no hills around Çukurcuk Harbor; it is located in an almost flat area. Therefore, it can receive wind. The bottom is generally sand. Behind the central cove are Didim's treatment facilities. Didim can be reached from the eastern cove or from where the treatment facility is located via a 6 km road.
There are restaurants in the cove.
It is also important as a shelter and anchorage point for those navigating on a North-South route.
On weekends, it is one of the swimming spots for people from Didim and can be crowded.
