Çeşme Castle is a historic fortress built in 1508 during the Ottoman period. The castle embodies all the characteristics of Ottoman military architecture and stands as one of Çeşme's iconic landmarks. Inside the fortress, the Çeşme Archaeology Museum displays artifacts discovered during archaeological excavations at the ancient city of Erythrae in Ildırı.

Located just south of the castle, the Ottoman Caravanserai was built in 1529 by order of Suleiman the Magnificent. The restored historic building now operates as a boutique hotel, offering visitors a unique glimpse into Ottoman heritage.

Çeşme is one of the Aegean Sea's most popular holiday destinations and serves as an important waypoint for sailors and maritime enthusiasts exploring the Turkish coast.
