Uzun Port

It is located to the southeast of Zeytinli Island, south of Babuş Point. It is a cove with a 130-meter wide entrance, which first widens then narrows, extending approximately one kilometer to the east.

The southern shore is more suitable for mooring. This section curves southward shortly after the entrance and continues for 500 meters. On this shore of the cove, which is surrounded by pine trees, there is first a beach area. Upon going ashore and taking a few steps, the coves of the seven islands to the south become visible.

Anchor is dropped at 8-10 meters in front of the beach section, and a stern line is taken from the shore. This is the most preferred spot in the cove. After the beach section, there are small coves side by side until the area where the stream flows into the sea. Everyone gets a small cove for their vessel. In this section, the depth increases. Anchor is dropped at 10-15 meters, and a stern line is taken from the shore. Among the trees, the cove is now yours.

Shoaling begins in the area where the stream flows into the sea and its extensions. Safe passage to the part of Uzun Liman that narrows and extends to the east can only be achieved by navigating close to the northern shore. Still, towards the end of the harbor, it decreases to depths of 2 meters and reed beds begin. These sections are generally mooring areas for fishing boats and are very sheltered. The name of this place is "Saklı Liman" (Hidden Harbor). Beautiful scenic hills can be reached via the forest path passing right above.

This road connects with the roads coming from Küfreden and continuing south. After 11 kilometers, it connects to Değirmenyanı on the Datça-Marmaris road.
