Main Breakwater F.G.7m 3M
Pier head Q
VHF 16
It is located west of Karantina Island within Urla Harbor.
It is a comfortable, sheltered harbor, however, it is a shelter with limited availability due to permanently moored vessels.
The harbor has a capacity of 60 vessels with depths ranging from 3-5 meters and anchoring is required. Although there are some buoys, they are private buoys of permanently moored vessels.
Inside the main breakwater is the most suitable location for yachts. Small fishing boats moor at the quay on the shore side. At the same time, on this side, research vessels of the maritime faculty are moored at the pier extending towards the center.
Electricity and water are available at the shelter.
The shelter is operated by the fisheries cooperative (Contact: 0232-752 00 86)
The harbor benefits from all facilities of Urla. Shopping centers, restaurants, bars and tea gardens are located around it. There is a fish auction within the harbor and fresh fish can be obtained.
A marine supplies store is located at the harbor area and fuel is supplied by tanker.
Healthcare, transportation, and security facilities are available.
Urla's local market days are Saturday and Sunday.
