GÜVERCINLIK BAY
A large bay surrounded by densely wooded shores, indenting to the east. The bay ends at Güvercinlik Village. The bay is exposed to westerly winds which can create uncomfortable conditions with prolonged winds generating small waves and swell.
Anchorage: Anchor off the village in depths of 4-9 meters, keeping clear of the pier. The bottom is sand providing good holding. In adverse conditions, you can anchor stern-to on the southern shores of Pina Peninsula opposite the bay.
