It is the cove north of Karaburun and Yıldız Island. When approaching the cove from this passage, there is a rock and its debris 300 meters offshore at 1 meter depth. A buoy is located on it. Although there is sufficient depth for passage on the shore side of this debris (very close to shore), considering rough and choppy seas, it is advisable not to take risks and enter from the Yıldız Island side.
Alakışla Bay is open to the east and south. Along the 1-mile coastline from the headland to the beach at the bottom, there are small charming coves sheltered from north and west winds. There are no settlements whatsoever.
At the southernmost part of the bay is Adalı Yalı Cove (36°59'04"N-27°38'33"E). There is a rock in the middle of the cove. Taking this rock into account, anchor stern-to at the north or south of the cove. It is a cove with crystal clear water, covered with pine and olive trees.
Slightly north of Adalı Yalı cove, there is another sheltered cove (36°59'26"N-27°38'36"E). This pebbly cove can also be approached stern-to.
The main Alakışla Yalısı (36°59'47"N-27°38'49"E) is the one to the north. It has a wide beach of pebbles and sand. The anchor can be dropped at 10 meters on sandy bottom in front of this beach and held with a stern line. To the west of the beach, there is a beautiful small cove of the bay. This cove can accommodate 2 boats. Excellent sea and lush green coast. Stern-to mooring is necessary, it is very narrow.
Ruins of an old Byzantine village are found in the beach area. There is also a small footpath connection from here.
If weather conditions permit your stay, it is truly a beautiful, peaceful cove to relax.
