It is the most sheltered cove of the wide Tuzla Bay between Koyun Point and Tuztutan Point within Gökova Gulf.
It consists of 3 small and 1 wide cove. The water deepens in the middle of the cove.
The area in front of the point on the north side of the cove has debris up to 35 meters.
The small cove just inside this point provides stern-to mooring possibility for maximum 2 boats.
It is generally sheltered from west and northwest winds.
Winds blowing from the west into this small cove, Fener Cove, generally turn from the slopes and enter as northerly winds. If your boat is inside, it puts pressure from the side.
For this reason, it is beneficial to set the anchor securely.
The bottom is sand and provides anchoring opportunity between 8-12 meters.
The cove immediately south of this cove is wide. Especially gulets moor here.
The depth suddenly decreases from the middle of this location. If your stern lines are long enough for this distance, it is an ideal mooring point.
Further south, there are 2 more single-boat coves separated from each other by a small point.
The anchoring spots in these small coves are deeper compared to the others.
Fener Cove is a sheltered cove surrounded by maquis vegetation.
