It is the cove that extends furthest east within Börtübet Harbor. From the entrance onwards, high hills extend among dense pine trees towards the northeasterly direction, the far end becomes shallow and narrows with a stream.
It is sheltered from all weather conditions, but receives light breeze from the west. For this reason, the most sheltered and comfortable place to anchor is the indented section on the starboard side at the cove entrance.
The bottom is a mixture of sand and mud. Drop anchor at 8-12 meters and take a stern line ashore. The southern shore is the most suitable side for mooring. There is a small wooden pier here. You can tie your dinghy here and set out on the path leading to surrounding coves, or go for a walk. This path leads eastward to Amazon Camp.
Your vessel can also remain at anchor at 10-12 meters in this cove. However, the area where the beach begins on the north side of the cove is the last place you can bring your vessel in. Shallow water begins abruptly after this point. There is another small pier at the beach section. This beach is operated by Amazon Camp. It is quite well-maintained, with sun loungers and a bar.
A channel marked with reeds inside the stream will take you by dinghy to Amazon Camp. Adjust your outboard motor's trim so you can navigate in shallow water and proceed slowly. Shortly after, the winding waterway will take you to the camp's pier in the shade of trees. Memorize this route, you will need it on the return. Or call Amazon Camp on VHF. They will provide you with an escort. Tour the excellent camp, you will find glass-roofed car rooms where you can stargaze when you lie down, bungalows, sports activities, restaurant, market, and shower facilities at this excellent facility within the dense forest.
You have the opportunity to monitor your boat from the facility's monitors as well. "Does it look good or bad?" you decide. A few days a week, jeep tours are organized to the hills of the Seven Islands to watch the sunset. Don't miss this. On top of the jeeps, winding through the forests, you arrive at the highest hills of the Seven Islands. Your lounge chairs are provided, wines and white cheeses are sipped accompanied by classical music. The sun says: "Everything is complete, nothing is missing, I can set with peace of mind." Slowly turning golden the surface of those magnificent coves and the unique waters of Gökova, it goes to illuminate other realms.
