It is half a mile east of Tavşanbükü Island.
Almost a lentil-sized cove. Sheltered but small, one, at most two boats can berth. In summer, if you're lucky, you can anchor in deep water between 18-22 meters and take a line ashore.
It is sheltered from the Meltemi. It is a barren cove except for a few almond trees.
There are old ruins.
To the east of this cove is Bozen Cove. The two coves are almost nested within each other.
Bozen Cove is not as deep as Mercimek cove. You can anchor at 10-13 meters.
