Çiftlik Bay (Marmaris)

It is the wide bay on the north side of Çiftlik Island. The bay can be entered from both deep sides of the island. The bottom is a mixture of seaweed and sand. 

Inside the bay, the depth decreases on the west side. Here, one can anchor at 5-9 meters and stay at anchor watch.

It is surrounded by high mountains where olive and pine trees are found, albeit sparsely. Gardens extend behind the western shore.

It is sheltered from the meltemi, open to southerly winds. On windy days, serious gusts descend from the mountains. The gusts from the cliff on the west side come with a loud noise. Do not let these gusts deceive you; when they exit, you may also encounter a completely calm open sea. This is the nature of this bay, it multiplies the winds.

In Çiftlik Bay, there are restaurant piers where you can moor stern-to. Electricity and water connections are available. They have markets. Wireless connections are available. Two of them provide laundry service. There is also a water sports center in the bay.

The bay is 7 kilometers from Bayır Village and 35 kilometers from Marmaris. There are regular minibus services and taxis are available.

Due to its proximity to Marmaris, the bay is a place where daily tour boats come intensively. During the day, from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM, this intensity is felt. After this time, the bay belongs to those who stay and becomes very beautiful at night. 

It has an atmosphere that is not overwhelming, with very beautiful water for swimming. Walking paths and trails take you to the hills.
