It is a cove indented to the west, north of Kadırga Point (36°43.8'N-28°18'E), which has a lighthouse on it, on the western side of Marmaris Gulf.
The mouth of the cove is clear. At the entrance, on the north side, a small rock protrudes above water. North of this rock there is 9 meters of water, it does not create an obstacle for passage.
The cove can be considered green with pine trees and maquis. It is sheltered from the meltemi and south, open to the southeast and poyraz.
The cove is deep at the entrance, depth decreases when approaching the western shore. In the southwest, west and northwest, anchoring is done at 10-15 meters in front of the shore, staying on a rode. Similarly, one can take a line from land and stern-to the shore.
In the southeast, steep rocks form a natural springboard for jumping into the deep waters in front of them. At the end of the coves in the west and northwest, there are pebble beaches.
In the northeast of Kadırga Cove, there is a small indentation. The bottom of the location where a boat can enter is covered with white slab stones. Caution must be exercised when anchoring.
Kadırga Cove is almost in the middle of the open sea. The movement outside can be felt from the boats. Although it receives wind from the low hills in the west and south, it is very sheltered.
Since this cove is in the cruising area of Marmaris tour boats, it can be crowded between 11:00-16:00. Outside these hours, it is peaceful. There is no road connection, it is tranquil. The sea is very clean but cool, the bottom structure is excellent. There are very beautiful spots in the Kadırga region where boats doing scuba diving dive. These are waters where underwater imaging competitions are organized.
