Ada Ağzı Bay

Ada Ağzı Bay is a sheltered anchorage located on the southeast side of Büyük Marmaris Harbor, indenting northward behind the western point.

A stream flows into the sea from the Günlük Forests on the eastern side of the bay. The area where this stream enters the sea creates shallow water extending toward the middle of the bay. From this section to Kütüklü Point to the south, numerous vessels anchor with good holding ground and lie to their anchors with stern lines. This anchorage becomes particularly crowded during the summer months.

The area presents a lush green landscape with pine trees covering the hills and giant eucalyptus trees along the shore.

Within the bay, a swimming area belonging to the coastal hotel and adjacent summer houses is marked by safety buoys. Beyond these buoys, vessels can anchor in 5-8 meters depth, either lying to their anchors or taking stern lines from the western shore. The bay provides good shelter except from easterly and southerly winds, with excellent holding ground.

The bay features a wooden T-pier with a capacity of 32 yachts, accessible via laid moorings. Operating as the Marmaris base for one of Turkey's largest charter companies, the pier also welcomes private vessels. The facility provides electricity, water, and sewage pump-out services. The company offers yachtsmen supplies, maintenance, and repair services. Wireless internet service is available at the pier.

Adjacent to the pier is a 19-room hotel with a restaurant and a taxi stand. The coastal road passing above the bay connects to Marmaris in 6.5 kilometers. Regular minibus services operate along this route, providing convenient access to all facilities and amenities available in Marmaris.
