The bottom structure holds anchor very well and the cove has varying depths.
In the middle of the cove, there is a shoal with a diameter of 30-40 meters visible from outside. In the middle of this shoal, there are ruins from ancient times.
These are believed to be remnants of a settlement that collapsed over time.
Care must be taken to avoid this shoal when anchoring.
There is another good anchorage on the west side of the small island. The most sheltered anchorage is the strait section on the east side of the small island.
It is a cove where daily tour boats come very frequently.
On the western side of the cove, among the greenery, there is a private mansion and its outbuildings.
To the east of the cove, between Domuz Island and Tersane Island, there are also beautiful, charming and sheltered anchorages facing the channel. At these points, vessels entering and exiting Göcek Gulf pass by.
All these locations are places where the air and sea are relatively cool during summer months.
