Kaş

In front of Kaş town, inside a long and high breakwater, there is a marina operated by Kaş municipality. The marina accommodates 80 yachts and accepts 20 guest vessels. Some berths in the marina, which has a depth of 5-8 meters, are vaulted(Contact:0242-836 10 20 / 0533-729 51 31 / 0532-503 26 73).

Diving, tour and fishing boats fill the marina. At the ends of the marina, there is a slipway that small boats can use.

Water and electricity are available in the marina, and there is a laundry facility. Paragliders land on the concrete surface of the breakwater where boats are moored. Sewage discharge service is provided in the marina. Fuel tankers are available in the marina.

There is a Coast Guard station within the marina.  Kaş is a very important point for diving tourism. The clarity of the water, the long visibility distance, and nearly 30 different diving spots have enabled the development of diving tourism. Nearly 15 diving schools provide service in summer and winter.

Kaş also has a structure very suitable for paragliding. High mountains, excellent views and a safe takeoff and landing strip have made Kaş a town known for paragliding as well.

Canoeing has been very popular in Kaş in recent years.

There are 2 stores in Kaş selling marine equipment. Since Kaş Marina is located within the town, technical service is available for yachtsmen. 

There is also a workshop in the town for wooden boat construction and maintenance.

The rock tombs of the ancient city of Antipellos from the Lycian period, an amphitheater and sarcophagi are located within the town.

In Kaş, there are stores affiliated with major shopping center chains, as well as a fruit and vegetable market.

With a hospital, health center, pharmacies, bank branches and ATMs, cargo companies, it is of a size to meet all the needs of yachtsmen. 

Kaş is 29 kilometers by road to Kemer, 150 kilometers to Dalaman International Airport, and 185 kilometers to Antalya.

Kaş, located above the harbor, has beautiful hotels, restaurants, bars, and shopping stores.

Kaş is 3 nm away from Meis Island, and boats operating regular sea services provide this connection from the harbor.
