İnceburun Light; Fl 3s 10m 5M
It is a wide bay called Limanağzı among locals, 1 mile south of Kaş. On the western side, there is İnceburun and its rocks extending 70 meters into the sea.
On the eastern side, there is a steep cliff where we can see Lycian tombs.
The bay is exposed to Yıldız-Karayele winds. However, their effect is not intense during summer. Squalls may occur from time to time.
The cape divides the bay in two. Both sides are suitable for anchoring. The bottom structure is marl, becoming sand closer to shore.
Anchoring is at 5-8 meters depth on the sandy bottom in front of the beach, and staying on anchor watch. Boats staying overnight can anchor at 12-17 meters near İnceburun shores and moor stern-to shore.
The bay is virtually Kaş's beach resort and regular sea bus services are available. Due to this density, hotels, restaurants, and beach facilities are abundant. There are piers where boats can tie up, but during daytime, tour boats make intensive transfers from these piers.
There is a private residence on the cape dividing the bay in the middle. Half a kilometer inland from this section, there is a large cave. It is said that in ancient times there was a church in this cave and locals stored their food supplies here. Indeed, when you enter inside, you notice how cool it is.
