It is the largest bay in Kekova, full of anchorages suitable for all weather conditions.
The bay has 3 entrances. The first one: When coming from Ölüdeniz, it is the narrow passage between Kişneli Island and the mainland. There is sufficient depth. The second one: It is the passage between Kişneli Island and Asırlı Island and is very wide. The third one: The channel north of Aşırlı Island.
Inside the bay there are many islands of various sizes, and likewise small coves. Generally, the interior of the bay is 7-8 meters deep, the bottom is a mixture of mud and silt. It provides good holding.
In the small coves, it is advisable to moor stern-to shore. The depths here drop to 3-5 meters. Otherwise, one can comfortably stay at anchor.
Historical ruins are also visible at certain places along the shore. You can see the ruins on top of Aşırlı Island after climbing a steep slope. From here you will have a commanding view of the entire harbor. The climbing route is from the location where there are traces of a restaurant on the northwest of Aşırlı Island, or it is the water runoff path behind the area on the west of the island where gulets generally moor stern-to shore for winter.
There is a large cave on the southeast of Aşırlı Island. Daily tour boats go all the way inside. While we are at anchor, we can visit this cave by dinghy.
