
Özbek Harbor is located on the eastern side of Gülbahçe Bay, providing a safe shelter for fishing boats and yachts.
Approach and Navigation: A sandbank extends 400 meters northwest from the main breakwater. When approaching from the north, it is advisable to alter course southward to clear this shoal, observe the secondary breakwater at 90 degrees, and make your approach safely.
Harbor Features: A finger pier extends through the middle of the basin, dividing it into two berthing areas. Both sides are suitable for mooring. The perimeter has been developed with quay walls. Depths range from 1.5 to 5 meters. Vessels anchor and moor stern-to or bow-to.
Capacity and Management: The harbor accommodates 50 boats and is operated by the fishing cooperative (Contact: +90 232-573 01 11).
Services and Facilities: Water and electricity connections are available for a fee. Ice and gas cylinders can be obtained. Diesel fuel is delivered by tanker truck. Fish auctions are held within the harbor. Wooden boat building and repair workshops are located in the area.
Surroundings and Transportation: The harbor is surrounded by residential areas with excellent restaurants offering quality seafood and local cuisine. Özbek Village is 2 km away, and Urla is 10 km distant. Regular minibus services operate between the harbor and Özbek Village.
Provisions and Amenities: Özbek Village offers comprehensive shopping facilities, medical services, and security units. A local market takes place on Wednesdays and Sundays.
