On the north side of the Karaburun Peninsula, between Kömür Point and Kanlıkaya Point, it is a small shelter point inside a large bay.
The main breakwater extends westward, forming a harbor entrance with a short breakwater from the shore.
Since the harbor entrance is close to the shore, careful entry to the shelter is required in northerly weather conditions.
The shelter is in front of the small settlement.
The depth in the middle of the shelter is 2.5 meters. The depth at the secondary breakwater quay is 3 meters. Other quays are shallow, fishing boats berth there.
In the summer months, the shelter has relatively available space for yachts, but in winter there is no space available due to fishing boats.
The shelter is operated by the fisheries cooperative (Contact: 0537-613 07 55)
