2016 Winter Trophies Set to Launch in Turkish Waters
First Trophy Kicks Off in Marmaris
The first of the Winter Trophies organized in Marmaris, Bodrum and İzmir will start on January 9-10 on the Marmaris course.
The trophy organized by MİYK in Marmaris, consisting of 6 legs, will start on January 9 and conclude on May 8.
The Winter Trophy to be held on the Bodrum course, organized by BAYK, consists of 7 legs. The trophy will start on January 16 and conclude on May 22.
The İzmir Winter Trophy, organized by EAYK, URİYAT, ICYC, Çeşme and Teos Marinas, consists of 7 legs. The trophy will start on January 23 on the Çeşme course, then continue on the Sığacık course and conclude on June 12.
As a warm-up for the new trophies, we would like to remind you of some footage from the winter trophies we followed in 2015, and leave you with the mini clip of the DENİZ CADILARI (SEA WITCHES) team that we filmed during the Bodrum races.
We wish that the trophies, which will feature approximately 100 boats and crews racing over a total of 39 race days, will be conducted safely, within the bounds of sportsmanship, in a friendly and joyful atmosphere.
