The ancient ruins of Amos are accessible from Asarcık hill, located northwest of Kumlubük Bay. Dating back to the Hellenistic period, Amos is composed of a remarkably well-preserved hillside amphitheatre, temple remains, and statue pedestals.

The ancient city is surrounded by defensive ramparts from the same era. The amphitheatre is particularly noteworthy, with its seating area, side walls, and three-chambered stage section remaining in excellent condition. Archaeological excavations conducted in 1948 by Professor George Bean revealed four inscriptions containing important information about three rental contracts, believed to date back to approximately 200 BC.

Kumlubük Bay provides an excellent anchorage for sailors wishing to visit the ancient city of Amos.
