Sulubahçe Bay is a large bay; it lies on the south of Bozcaada, on the western end of Point Sulubahçe and ends in a nice and sandy beach. The bottom is sand. Boats drop anchor in 3 – 6 meters and swing. The bay offers good shelter from northerly winds, but it is open to south. Famous Ayazma beach is on the east part of the bay, it is crowded on weekends. There are nice restaurants and teahouses ashore. Land transport services to Bozcaada town are conducted by mini busses, you can observe beautiful views and landscape. Transit vessels to Dardanelles anchor in Sulubahçe Bay.
