Yeniliman Barınağı (Shelter) is on the north of Karaburun Peninsula. It is between the points ; Kömür Burnu and Kanlıkaya Burnu.

The main breakwater extends to the west and a finger sheltering breakwater extends towards the entrance. The shelter entrance is fairly close to shore; if any swell is running from the northerlies it can be difficult to negotiate. There is 2.5 meters depth in the basin. The quay on the short breakwater is more convenient for the boats; depth is about 3 meters. Berthing is available for the visiting yachts in summer months. Local fishing cooperative manages the shelter (phone: 0537 – 613 07 55). Regular transport facilities are available to Karaburun – 9 km.

Public market occurs on Wednesdays.
