It is a bay shaped like a bow immediately east of Uzunca Island.
At the entrance, it can be easily entered provided that attention is paid to the debris of Uzunca (Ayak Island) Island and the debris in front of the eastern shore headland of the bay.
The bay shoals suddenly without approaching the shore. The bottom is sand and it is quite a shallow bay. In front of the beach, there is a sand bank parallel to the beach. This bank extends to the island. Between the island and the beach it is very shallow, impassable.
Drop anchor at 5-6 meters in the middle of the bay and stay with a stern line.
The bay is sheltered from the meltemi but open to the south. It takes in swell and generally causes discomfort. On the eastern side of the bay, there is a currently closed hotel built in the architectural style of Muğla houses. When the hotel is open, there is a floating pier in front of it. You can also moor stern-to here.
Due to the bay's characteristic of taking in swell, we recommend staying only during daytime.
There is no development other than the hotel.
Karaincir bay is located immediately to the east. When passing to this bay, it is advisable to pay attention to shoals and rocks again.
