Sucağız Koyu lies on the NE of Tavşan Island. Pine trees surround the bay. Cool anchorage with attractive settings. There are nice coves providing adequate anchorages. These coves are squeezed between the points.

-The cove on the south where slopes sheer down into the sea, provides adequate sheltering from breeze. You can drop anchor in 10 m. If you are planning to stay at night; it is always the best to take a line ashore. Prevailing wind send swell in. This anchorage is a popular spot for the tripper boats. They stop here late afternoons and constantly churn in and out of the bay, but the nights are quite.

-  A cove on the north is also adequate anchorage side off the beach.The bottom is weed-sand. The slopes are covered by evergreen trees.

 -  A cove by the tip which extends like a tongue is a nice anchorage. The botttom is weed-sand. The water is so clear and pine trees surround the cove.

-   A cove on the east, gives relative sheltering from breeze. Prevailing westerlies send considerable swell right into the bay from the mountains. Drop anchor on the farthest west part and get a line ashore.

Pay attention for the isolated reefs running out from the tips in Sucağız.
