Girneyit Koyu lies on the south of Kargı Island. It is an isolated bay, intending to SW. Boats can anchor off the beach side by the flat valley. Anchorage is not recommended at night. There are good depths in the bay. Cool anchorage in calm weather, but it is boomy because of  powerboat cruisings.
