This bay lies on the north of point; Kuyulu Burun. The entry of the bay is open to east. Çamurlu Koy affords adequate sheltering from westerly blowing winds. The slopes are wooded by pine trees. A finger tip extends out from the middle. Boats can anchor off on the southern part of this finger point in 10-14m and get a line ashore to the south. This part is a favorite promenade on weekends for the inhabitants. A rough path is connected with Datça-Marmaris highway. Strolling among the trees is a delight.
The northern side of the finger tip is a better anchorage for overnight staying. Boats drop anchor in 10-15 m and take a line ashore. The bottom is sand and weed.
The whole area is under control of Ministry of Forest. The coves get crowded on weekends, people come here by land.
