Karaincir lies between Koca Burun on the north and Aspat Bay / Aspat Castle on the west. Affords good shelter from breeze. The bay is surrounded by summer sites and restaurants. There are a few piers for the excursion boats of the restaurants. Karaincir is a favorite destination for daily boats of Bodrum. You can anchor in depths of 3-10m. Strong winds send swell in. The bottom is good for holding. The water is cooler because of spring water sources.

Most provisions are available from the markets and hotels. Akyarlar Village is another close spot for provisions.
