Gerence Koyu lies on the south of point Gerence Burnu, indenting to the west. The shores except northern part are densily wooded by pine trees. This bay affords all-round shelter, but it is open to NE and SE. Boats can either anchor off by beach in 6-7 meters and get a line ashore or pushed off in the middle. The bottom is sand among weed. There is clear turquoise water. The settings are attractive. Gerence is a favorite layover port for those cruising westward to Körmen and Knidos.
