Global Sailing Marinet

A boutique marina complex of 30-berth capacity is located on the west shore of Söğüt Bay, nestled beneath dense pine forests. Built and operated by Haluk Karamanoğlu and his family, who completed a world circumnavigation aboard their sailing yacht 'Deriska' between 1988-93, this exemplary facility continues to evolve and improve daily.

Laid moorings are secured to pontoons. Water, electricity, TV and wireless internet connections are available. Your vessel will be safely moored in the crystal-clear waters of Söğüt Bay. This marina serves as a central hub for sailors in the region, offering a market, ice, showers, WC facilities, and laundry services. Carpentry, electrical, and mechanical repair services are provided.

Set beneath pine forests and surrounded by greenery, the facility features a restaurant, bar, café, fitness center, sauna, and tennis court. Marmaris is 23 kilometers away, and Dalaman Airport is 100 kilometers distant. Transfer services are provided to Marmaris and all regional airports.

Fuel supply is available upon request, and technical equipment can be ordered from Marmaris. A cargo service company operates between Marmaris and the marina.

An infirmary with a nurse is available on-site, and a doctor can be called when necessary.

The facility includes a boutique hotel with 5 rooms.

At Global Sailing facilities, the Karamanoğlu family's passion for the sea has evolved into sailing instruction, teaching hundreds of young people from Söğüt, Marmaris, and various parts of Turkey. These students become competitive racers over time, achieving remarkable success. Three residential sailing courses are held annually. Trainees sail in the magnificent atmosphere of Söğüt Bay using state-of-the-art, high-performance boats.

Boat charter services are also available at the facility.
