
It is a sheltered cove located at the southwestern corner of Göcek Island. It is protected from the meltemi wind.
Within Göcek Bay, vessels traveling to and from Göcek town from the south pass in front of this cove.
The slopes of the cove are covered with pine trees. In the cove, which has a depth of 15 meters, there are sufficient mooring buoys for vessels to secure to in the middle of the cove, in accordance with the principles and procedures established for the protection of biodiversity and environmental values and prevention of pollution in the Fethiye-Göcek Special Environmental Protection Area.
The cove, which is beautiful at all hours of the day, is magnificent during sunset in the evening.
Along the coast of the cove, which extends northward with the same geographical characteristics, the depth reaches 25 meters. Mooring buoys are also located throughout this coastal strip.
In this location, which is close to and overlooks Göcek town, Göcek appears brilliantly lit at night. It is also a convenient point for provisioning by boat from Göcek.
